controlling Tetra thru Ableton

Alex Dec 22, 2015 10:00PM CET

I have MIDI in/out in Lemur to USB host 1, and also have that in Ableton. Ableton is seeing activity when I move sliders in Lemur, but no sound changes are occurring with my DSI Tetra that's hooked up directly to the HST1 (host 1) port.

In this sort of situation it's best to troubleshoot by elimination. It's not clear if the block is LEMUR -> ABLETON, or if it's ABLETON -> TETRA. You should create a MIDI clip in Ableton and just send some MIDI data. See if that makes it to the Tetra. If that works, send some MIDI data from Lemur to Ableton, see if you're able to record into a MIDI clip. Once you have both working, try sending the MIDI data directly from Lemur to Tetra through Ableton.
