I'm attempting to connect my Lemur app from _either_ an iPad 1 or an iPad Air 1, and seeing the same limited results.
The iPads both have a valid, working WiFi connection through the same router as the PC I'm attempting to connect to.
From the iPads themselves, I can target the OS's own "MS Wavetable Synth". A pretty limited thing, but it at least proves the WiFi connection is solid.
From the desktop, the Lemur Editor can be given an explicit IP address and connect to Lemur on either iPad. The editor _itself_ appears to function as expected except that it doesn't appear to be able to help out with any other connection problems. The desktop is a working Win 10 machine in decent health, it used to be a Win 7 machine and I'd been able to connect Lemur back at version 4.1.1 successfully in the Win 7 environment.
As for the rest of the desktop, both the Lemur Daemon and Reaktor do not see the Lemur. Reaktor is picking up on the Lemur Editor's traffic being sent towards the Lemur App -- that much is visible to the OSC monitor. However, even when experimenting with different local ports it isn't picking up on it.
I've verified previously that the correct ports and apps are given clearance on my firewall and router. I've updated the Daemon and Editor to the current version, as well. Rebooting all devices, including the desktop, seems to have no effect.
I've scoured through your videos for basics, however your tutorial videos seem to not apply to the question I'm looking for. There are related questions on the forums, but the asserted answers by staff do not seem to be working.
What I wish to know is this:
Do you have anything else to suggest I attempt?
If not, do you need any more details in order to attempt to replicate what's going on there?
Thanks in advance...
