Lemur Daemon (on Mac OS X El Capitan) does not detect my ipad (iOS 9.2). Help?

Isaac Jan 31, 2016 10:55PM CET

As stated above. After creating the ad-hoc network, the wifi symbol does not appear. Not sure if this is part of the new iOS or OS X software but it used to do that before I updated. In any case...is someone else having this problem? If someone else has these two devices running on the same operating system, can you please tell me if the wifi symbol appears or not? Thank you.

Starting with iOS 6, it seems that the AirPort symbol no longer appears when the iPad is connected to an ad-hoc Wi-Fi network, even if the connection is properly established. You can check if the iPad is connected by going to the Settings app / Wi-Fi tab.
