Connectivity Problem

João Freitas Dec 27, 2014 12:51PM CET

Hy there,

Im trying to connect Lemur to my mac for over a week unsuccessfuly. I tried everything and i still can´t figure out why it is not working.

When i select my ipad in Lemur Deamon and set the ports to "Damon 0 (In and Out)", the "Remote Port" section show's up in red text. I guess that means something is wrong? Also, even when it is not red (happens sometimes), and, suposedly, it is all working fine, i just don´t seem to be able do connect my ipad to trator, even thought I previously instalei the TSI file required to do so...

Im sry about my inexperiente, but this just seems so stupid... Everyone can work just fine with their Lemur app, except for me :(

Usually if the ports appear in red it means that it was connected before (even the previous session hours or days before), but the connection was now interrupted. Try explicitly disconnected the ports, and re-selecting them. You can also try configuring the MIDI Targets through the Lemur Daemon's GUI on the computer.

You can also try, as a test, connecting through a router instead of an ad-hoc network.

If all else fails, we also highly recommend a hardware MIDI interface to avoid all Wi-Fi problems.
