QLC+

Jed Nov 23, 2015 10:07AM CET

I am trying to get Lemur to communicate with QLC+ using Program Change events. I am new to Lemur but have been using TouchOSC for a while. All I want to do is to put a matrix of buttons on a form and send out program changes on a particular midi channel. My ipad is connecting to the Windows 8 PC as template changes are reflected, I have the daemon running but I am at a loss as to how to sendan event. Please can anyone help or give me a link to a working template? I have tried various templates but they do not seem to send any data over wifi from my Ipad to the PC. Am I missing something here?

Regards

Jed

Hi

Thanks for that. I have the Daemon running and I am also using rtpMIDI which is a virtual midi port by the same chap who does LOOPMIDI.

My MIDI targets are from my Ipad Network Session 1 to the PC via a router. This connects as I can see my Ipad from PC Lemur. I am running midiOX to see if any events are sent and nothing happens. Whilst running TouchOSC at the same time sends Program changes reflected in MidiOx but Lemur sends nothing. I have a button with output x as CtrlChange 0 Ch 15 Midi 0.

But nothing...

Hi Jed

Lemur Daemon does not require (or even work) with rtpMIDI. loopmidi serves a different function, it creates virtual MIDI (loopback) ports on the computer. That is what the Daemon needs, not rtpmidi.
