Can you confirm that the tablet and the computer have a working network connection? Does the table have an IP address?
Have you tried configuring the MIDI Targets from the Lemur Daemon's GUI, from the Lemur app, or both?

Yes both the tablet and the computer have a working connection. However I don't know which table it is you are talking about.
When i run lemur on my android device it shows up a blank home page with the lemur sign and symbol. on the mac I can open up lemur editor and daemon. However as a first time user there is absolutely nothing i can understand about it yet...

The blank home page with the Lemur icon is the starting point of the Lemur app. From here, you can open the settings and load a factory template (try tapping the symbol), or you can send over a template with the Lemur Editor running on the computer.
