Lemur Editor and Lemur daemon don't launch after updating to 5.3.2 on Mac os 10.5

Nixt Feb 21, 2016 12:23PM CET

I've been happily using Lemur with Ableton Live for several years now. I make live performances with this setup. Yesterday night I had a big gig (around 7000 people in the venue) and for some reason I found myself unable to connect lemur to the daemon (the ad hoc network was set properly on the ipad and the macbook).
Lucky me I had another small midi controller that allowed me to play anyways.
So this morning I thought that I hadn't updated to the latest versions of the daemon and maybe that could be the cause of my problem (although my setup had worked fine before I left for my gig so it remains a mystery).
Anyway I downloaded the latest lemur installer and since then I can't launch the daemon (I double click on it and nothing happens, it doesn't appear on the top menu bar) and the lemur Editor crashes immediately when I try to launch it.
I'm on Mac os 10.5. I know it's an old system but your update says that it's still compatible so I don't understand.
I hope you'll be able to help me. I have another gig next weekend and I would be really annoyed if I couldn't use my ipad with lemur. Thanks in advance.

We always recommend hardware connections for stage performance, to prevent any issues with Wi-Fi interference, ad-hoc issues, etc. Working in a new and unfamiliar environment always brings up new problems. I highly recommend using the USB connectivity introduced in the last update, or a hardware MIDI interface such as iConnect MIDI

In regards to Daemon and Editor not starting, try deleting the preferences files and rebooting:
