Lemur Editor on PC Doesn't Follow Several Windows Conventions

Tom Boughner Jan 08, 2017 01:54AM CET

I just purchased and started using Lemur and am really impressed with its capabilities. One thing that drives me crazy, though, is how the editor doesn't behave like a standard Windows app. Several examples:
1- The max/min/close buttons are on the left of the title bar instead of the right.
2- The Tab key does not advance the cursor to the next field. For example, if you edit the Name field of any object and press Tab, the cursor should move to the X field, then Y, W, H, etc.
3- Often, when I edit a single property of an object, then press Enter or Tab, the focus moves to the top-level project object, which means I need to re-select the object I am editing after every change.
4- In the script editor, Home and End keys move to the beginning or end of the entire script. Windows convention is for these keys to move to the beginning or end of the current line. Ctrl-Home or Ctrl-End are used to move to the top or bottom of a document.
5- Page Down and Page Up keys do nothing in the script editor.

I hope these are on the radar to get fixed because they make using the editor a real chore on Windows.
