Connection of Lemur to Sonar Platinum

Bart Jan 18, 2017 05:20PM CET

I have installed Lemur Daemon, Lemur editor, and LoopBe. I can make the midiports and assign them in Lemur Daemon. Lemur editor hooks up well with my iPhone on which I have the Lemur program. Changing things on the editor, changes Lemur on the iPhone.

I have assigned the in/out midi connections in Sonar Plt exactly as the instructions say. I create the control surface Mackie and assign midi in/out. when connecting Sonar to Mackie control surface, nothing happens. Pressing the 'connection' button on the iPhone Lemur app does nothing.

Your help at this point is appreciated!

I was trying to use Sonar's 'mackie control' protocol for the control surface. Never did connect. Then I used Alexey Zhelezov's AZController and voila! it connected and works just like my hardware MCU PRO!

I am using loopMIDI right now, as the LoopBe was a bit expensive. And currently I am just using my regular network. Latency are very acceptable for what I am doing with Lemur.

It will be great to sit in the 'isolation room' and create, arm and record to new tracks without having to come back to my computer.
