Lemur Editor bug in a multi-monitor environment

Nikita Dec 25, 2017 03:43AM CET

Hi there.
I have a problem with Lemur Editor on my Mac. When I use it with macBook only, it works fine. But when I plug in external monitor, it read mouse coordinates with offset of about half-screen (vert or/and horiz). So it's impossible to use it.
Here is the screencast: https://yadi.sk/i/3ognkWRl3Qv9bw .
Yes, I've read your recommendations where you suggest to plug out external monitors. But you think I'll restrict my hardware setup only for your program? Your program is quite expensive and it have such infantile problems? Guys, are you thinking too much of yourself?
Also, I can say that Lemur Editor is the ugliest app that I've ever used on Mac. Yes, it's known that many specific cross platform software have bad design, but your app is a champion.
All of these problems has one cause. You should create two native applications than one cross platform. In this case the problems like this is totally impossible. And you would don't need to reinvent the UI, all the more you can't make it good.

Yeah, I have the same issues. For me app is good enough. Looks not native, but it is not a big deal, which can not be said about issue with monitor. I was not understanding what happens, because I was not able to interact with window. Thanks for hint about second display.

Brand new user here. August of 2018 and I’m experiencing these same issues today that you were back in December. Thanks for the tip of external monitors, but am I seriously supposed to unplug every time I want to use the editor? I was kind of relying on my DAW running in the background so I could see when I was successfully transmitting MIDI. I can’t see both without a second monitor. This sucks. :-/ I may need to return this app...
