Lemur on Ipad: issue with MIDI in background

Hi,

I'm using Lemur on an iPad pro 12,5 a camera connector Kit and a midi keyboard. I don't use the Lemur Daemon, as i don't use a computer in my final setup (i only use a computer to develop my interface).

I have developed two very simple scripts to use Lemur as a midi pass through: a noteOn script that just do a noteout (noteout(0,MIDI_ARGS[0], MIDI_ARGS[1], 1);) and a noteOff script that call a midiout (midiout(0,{0x80,MIDI_ARGS});)
Keeping Lemur in foreground, everything works fine, i can play as long as i want.

Now after activating the "run in background mode", if i put the Lemur app in background, it stop doing its job of passing the midi after around 45s. And everything get stuck; I need to put again the Lemur app in foreground to have again my midi pass through working correctly.

Am i doing something wrong ? Do i need to add something in my scripts to request it to work even in background ?

Same problem. And midiout commands stopped working. Also, midi input to lemur ceased its existence too.

Hello guys, any new about this issue? I have half of my controllers tits up since this happened. Any update planned to solve it?

Apple does not let us go back in time to a previous IOS version, so we are pretty much screwed.

Please let us know something...

i got exactly the same problem. i used lemur for a long time bug free. since i switched to ios 12, after a few seconds lemur stopps the connection to other apps, if it is active in the background. also all objects are reseted to its loaded status.
